Transportation

The ‘Valley Moves’ Group’s mission is threefold: to conserve energy resources; reduce greenhouse gas emissions; and unite the Mad River Valley towns by building public awareness of transportation issues and fostering travel options such as public bus transit, ride share / carpool programs, non-motorized trail networks & improved bike lanes. Valley Moves specifically supports completion of the Mad River Path network connecting Warren to Moretown, initiating a small-scale carpool program, and implementing The Mad Bike Project, which bikes that can be ridden in “downtown” Waitsfield.
